The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you're not going to stay where you are.
Today, I was thinking that life is such a funny thing. One day you're here and the next day you're not. I've known people who have had so many chances and opportunities to make their dreams come true but instead, they let it slip through their hands all because of fearing to take a chance. Some people are scared to take a chance...whether it be a fear of regret or a fear of rejection. I have to admit that even I myself sometimes would be afraid to step out of my comfort zone. But do not be afraid to take a chance in this life, it is too short. I'm sure that each person has some kind of regret and would like to rewind time to change the past. Don't we all wish we had a time machine? That would make our lives so much easier, won't it? We'd be able to go back in time and change our past. But the past is our past and what was done is done, we cannot change it even if we want to. But guess what? The future is still ahead of us. Life is an opportunity, an opportunity that embraces us each day. We should be thankful in all things and I encourage you to make that decision and take action. Things are as they are at the moment but we are only on this earth for a short time, so while we're here, we need to make life as exciting and memorable as we can. I've always believed that life is what you make it.
Believe in love and always be open about it. If you love someone, tell them before it's too late. Would you rather say something and wish you hadn't or not say something and wish you had? You wouldn't want to spend your life wondering what would have happened when something could have happened. Remember, the only person standing in your way is you. What have you got to lose? x
