Christ is Risen

St Luke 24:6 - "He is not here, but he is risen."

Easter is a time of reflection not just a celebration. We ought to reflect upon all he had been through for us, the thirty-nine stripes he took on his back, his own people turned against him and spat in his face, him carrying that cross to the hill of Calvary, the crown of thorns they placed on his head as his blood dripped down his face and the nails he took in his hands. Who would do that for you??? No one!!! But Jesus did it for you and I. He took all of that so we can be pardoned, that we can be forgiven of our sins, that we can go to him in prayer at any time and say "forgive me" and we will be forgiven. That is how great our God is!! We should acknowledge that he is the reason that we have grace today and we were the reason that he was crucified and was risen. Please let this not be the only time we look to Christ. He's just a prayer away. His mercies are new each morning and his love is overwhelming...to deep to comprehend. x♥x♥
